Best Free Autosurf list

Autosurf programs are one of the most effective means of promoting a website online, when you do it right. This popular method of traffic generation/internet advertising has grown from it's humble beginnings in the late 90's. 

The underlying idea of Autosurf Programs, also known as "Traffic Exchanges", is simple. Using your internet browser, you view other people's websites and receive traffic credits for doing so. As you accumulate credits, these entitle you to receive views of your websites that you have listed with the autosurf program.

Once you start autosurfing, the display of websites on your computer continues automatically. After a set time period ( eg. 30 secs ), your browser moves on automatically to the next website, without any need for you to 'click' with your mouse.

Each autosurf program has its own features. The length of time sites are displayed and the exchange ratio ( the number of credits you receive for each website displayed ) will vary for different programs. Boost your web traffic it's easy.

*Note Make sure you have a firewall and virus protection in place on your system before you start these running. Also edit your browser settings so you are prompted with a screen message if any site you are viewing attempts to download a file.

GETTING STARTED

To save time, I'll assume you already know how traffic exchanges work, and understand how to:

* sign-up for traffic exchanges 
* add websites and banners
* use tabbed browsing

I use Mozilla "Firefox" as my surfing browser. It has all the features I need for smooth autosurfing. So far I've experienced no problems with it. You can download the latest version at:

Firefox is FREE 
* Firefox is an open source development. It's completely FREE to download and use. 

Firefox is faster 
* Firefox is up to 5 times as fast as Internet Explorer. It outperforms Internet Explorer on any test. 

Firefox is secure 
* Firefox protects your computer from adware, spyware and malware and blocks pop-ups. Surf the web with greater privacy. 
You will find plenty of tips at the Mozilla site on setting up your browser. But whatever browser you are using, you will need to do the following to protect your computer while surfing;

1) Edit your browser settings so that:

a} You are prompted with a screen message EVERY time a site you browse attempts to download a file.

b} Pop-ups are blocked

c} Java and javascript are enabled

d} Cookies are enabled

In Firefox you'll find these settings by clicking on "tools" at the top of your browser window and then clicking on "Options". The settings I mentioned above can be found in the submenu items of "Downloads", "Content", and "Privacy".

I also highly recommend that you obtain the "Noscript" extension/Add-on for Firefox. It's Free. To do this click on the "Tools" tab at the top of your browser window and then click on the "Extensions" or "Add-ons" link in the drop down tools menu. You will then see a popup window. Click on the link at the bottom of the popup window that says: "Get Extensions". Scroll down to the bottom of the page that appears and you will see a search bar under the heading "Find More Add-Ons". Type the following in the search bar;"NoScript" and click "Search". Download the free program to your computer, then close and restart Firefox.

Firefox with the "NoScript" plugin will protect you from 90%+ of whatever bad or annoying stuff you come across on the Internet. It will also make it MUCH nicer to autosurf and create less load on your computer since it will refuse to load active content from any site that you have not specifically setup as a "trusted" or "allowed" site according to "NoScript". Just make sure you "allow" whatever traffic exchanges you're using, otherwise the surf bar won't work. This is extremely easy to do, and once you install it and start using it, you'll wonder how you ever surfed without it. 

Its also helpful to have a system in place for noting down your login names and passwords for each autosurf program, along with referral and promotional banner links etc. I keep a spreadsheet with this information and record my login details at the time I sign-up. This is very handy if for some reason, your login details don't arrive in your email.

Your Action List

1) Install Mozilla FireFox if you don't already use it.

2) Change your browser settings so your surfing is secure.

3) Obtain the "NoScript" extension for Firefox

4) Set-up your system to record logins, referral links etc.

*Hint: Most pro surfers I know DON'T use Windows Explorer for autosurfing.

*Note Many people have lost their Google Adsense or other pay-per click account because they made the mistake of displaying pages with PPC adverts on either autosurf or manual traffic exchanges. Make it a rule to NEVER display PPC advertisements on any traffic exchange, either autosurf or manual. Most times you will be breaching their terms of service. If you happen to get paid before they catch up with you, you may find yourself reported for fraud. Yes - you will see other people doing it, and think maybe its OK. Trust me, they won't be doing it for long. At the very least, you WILL lose your PPC account and forfeit any earnings made.
